More right than wrong for the Eagles, and a B to prove it.

The Sai'vion Jones pick is the one that will follow the Eagles into the fall. They took him 46 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The Bowman Jr. value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.

No drama and no debate, Jalen Royals went about where he belonged in slot 64. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.

A real head-scratcher, Sai'vion Jones in the 96th overall pick is miles ahead of his ranking. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

A safety of that caliber at pick 134 is the definition of value, full stop. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.

Kurtis Rourke at the Round 5 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick164 Rnd5 Trevor Etienne
Somehow Trevor Etienne was still sitting there in pick No. 164, and they pounced on premier running back value. A need, and now a little less of one.

They did well to land Tommi Hill in pick No. 165, just ahead of his grade. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
