The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bills reached some 30 spots for Ben Sauls, and value like that does not grow back. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

With safety, edge rusher and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on specialist is the choice that costs them. The Tuten pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
