Larceny in slot 164 lands the Panthers a B, Helm and all.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Gunnar Helm got past him. The Panthers do not have to explain a thing at the 164th pick.

They will need Dellinger to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
