Draft Grade — Ravens

The steal of the weekend belongs to the Ravens and Rouse: B. The board owed the Ravens one, and it paid up: Walter Rouse, the No. 171 name on the board, sitting there at Round 7, Pick 6 like a gift left on the doorstep.
Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. If Eboigbe pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick30
Rnd1
Brian Thomas Jr.
In pick 30 they get a difference-maker at receiver at fair value.
Pick62
Rnd2
Edgerrin Cooper
They barely believed it either: Edgerrin Cooper still on the board at pick No. 62. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick93
Rnd3
Jaylen Wright
A slide stopped in slot 93, with Jaylen Wright worth more than the price. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick131
Rnd4
Dominick Puni
Circle this one: Dominick Puni at Round 4, Pick 31 is a fall that decides a draft. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick134
Rnd4
Justin Eboigbe
They went early on Justin Eboigbe in the 134th overall pick, and the value did not follow. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick164
Rnd5
Johnny Wilson
Johnny Wilson at the 164th pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick226
Rnd7
Walter Rouse
Somehow Walter Rouse was still sitting there in No. 226, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick248
Rnd7
Michael Barrett
Steal is underselling it; Michael Barrett at the Round 7 slot is a heist with the alarm still ringing. They added to a strength when a need was still open elsewhere.
