The Jaguars won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: B. Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Demon Clowney at pick No. 246 is 77 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Stockton at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
The Jaguars paired the rookies with proven help, Puka Nacua leading the way.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
