The board owed the Bears one, and it paid up: Chris Paul Jr., the No. 114 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 6 slot like a gift left on the doorstep.

They will need Membou to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
