You build a draft on nights like this. Jared Ivey had no business being available in Round 5, Pick 23, and the Eagles did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

They are betting Simon proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
