A costly weekend of dealing drags the Bills to a D-.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Bills did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

Every board in the league had Nugent lower, and that gap is the story. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. Jones at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
