The Bills got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-. You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Bills did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. Put together, it is a D-.
They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. The Jackson pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with linebacker, safety and other spots still on the board.
The cost of the Hartman reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Turner at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
