A costly weekend of dealing drags the Bills to a D-.

The Bills treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick No. 159 on Joe Milton III a full 40 spots early.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Rice pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 7 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and linebacker is still a hole.
