The board owed the Bills one, and it paid up: Mello Dotson, the No. 132 name on the board, sitting there at the 169th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. This is how you run a draft, and the A- reflects it.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want.

The Bills clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
