There is reaching, and then there is Quinn Carroll at the 171st pick. The Bills jumped the board by 91 and dared it to prove them wrong. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Getting Mondon Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
