Draft Grade — Bills
Overall C
ValueC+ NeedB+ TradesF FutureB-
The phones sank the Bills this weekend: C.

The Bills torched the value chart for Barryn Sorrell, taking him 118 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. It nets out a thoroughly average C.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Sanders. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want.

If Derrick Harmon and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Derrick Harmon
In the 30th overall pick they get a wrecking ball inside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick34 Rnd2 Matthew Golden
They jumped the gun on Matthew Golden, taking him earlier than his grade liked. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick63 Rnd2 Tyleik Williams
Value with a capital V on Tyleik Williams in slot 63, a genuine coup. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick80 Rnd3 Andrew Mukuba
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Andrew Mukuba at the Round 3 slot is the proof. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick160 Rnd5 Barryn Sorrell
Barryn Sorrell in pick 160 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. The roster fit checks out.
Pick166 Rnd5 Davison Igbinosun
A wild overpay on Davison Igbinosun in Round 5, Pick 29, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick169 Rnd5 Raheim Sanders
Raheim Sanders in the Round 5 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A need, and now a little less of one.
