The Bills let Wilson fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bills watched Jared Wilson slide 28 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.

Kenneth Grant is a better player than No. 30 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.

A slide stopped in Round 2, Pick 24, with Xavier Watts worth more than the price. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.

They paid sticker price for Jayden Higgins in the 62nd pick, and that is fine. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
