The Bills answered their biggest question with Williams. Grade: D+. Somebody took the Bills to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.
Whatever Caleb Williams becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They will need Johnson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
Tampa at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
