Start where it matters. The Browns took Ty Simpson to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

The Beck value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

If Ioane pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
