The Bills did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and M.J. Devonshire fell into Round 6, Pick 27.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The cost of the Wingo reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
