Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B
ValueB NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bills and Lassiter: B.

Call it larceny. Kamari Lassiter sat on the board until the Round 2 slot, and the Bills did not need to be asked twice.

Reaching for Hall left real value on the table behind him. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Job largely done: linebacker settled and 7 of 9 of the wish list covered.

They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick33 Rnd2 Keon Coleman
A slide stopped in pick 33, with Keon Coleman worth more than the price. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick60 Rnd2 Kamari Lassiter
Somehow Kamari Lassiter was still sitting there in the 60th overall pick, and they pounced on premier cornerback value. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick98 Rnd3 Audric Estime
They took Audric Estime at par in Round 3, Pick 35, which is nothing to complain about. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick99 Rnd3 Tykee Smith
They did well to land Tykee Smith in pick No. 99, just ahead of his grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick129 Rnd4 Darius Robinson
Darius Robinson at the Round 4 slot is money in the bank, a edge rusher taken below his worth. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick162 Rnd5 Edefuan Ulofoshio
Edefuan Ulofoshio in No. 162 is fair value, right on his grade. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick197 Rnd6 Gabe Hall
They talked themselves into Gabe Hall at slot 197, and the board did not agree. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick202 Rnd6 Aki Ogunbiyi
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Aki Ogunbiyi. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick206 Rnd6 Christian Jones
No edge and no loss on Christian Jones in Round 6, Pick 31; it is a wash and a sensible one. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick246 Rnd7 Jha'Quan Jackson
They will replay Jha'Quan Jackson at the 246th pick for years; that is how good the value is. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
