Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bills were there to profit. Malaki Starks, the No. 27 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 56th pick. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
