The board owed the Bills one, and it paid up: Terrion Arnold, the No. 21 name on the board, sitting there at the 60th pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Their trades came out a wash either way.
