Larceny in slot 224 lands the Texans a D-, Jones and all.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Texans shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.

They will need Williams to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On value alone, Jones makes the weekend a net positive.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
