The Bears answered their biggest question with Maye. Grade: C+.

The search is over. The Bears handed the keys to Drake Maye, and the whole operation now runs on his development. A mixed bag that lands at C+.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. That Fashanu pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Reaching for Rice left real value on the table behind him.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
