Conviction outran the board for the Seahawks, and it cost them: F.

The Seahawks clearly saw something nobody else did in Ryan Flournoy, taking him 69 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. The board sounded every alarm, and the F is the fallout.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback still on the board.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

In short, a weekend the front office will want to forget in a hurry.
