Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Cowboys spent pick No. 243 on Korey Foreman, a name most had 41 spots down the list.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Spending an early pick on safety with quarterback and tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
