Start where it matters. The Raiders took Michael Penix Jr. to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Henderson reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The Carson pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
