There is a lot to like until you notice cornerback is still a hole. The Lions never got to the one that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They banked enough surplus on Watts to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will need Robinson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
