The board owed the Falcons one, and it paid up: Josaiah Stewart, the No. 52 name on the board, sitting there at slot 218 like a gift left on the doorstep.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Majors left real value on the table behind him.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
