Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Demon Clowney at No. 255 is 80 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Getting Muhammad where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The verdict is harsh because the weekend was, and there is little to argue.
