You can draft well and still miss the point. The Bills did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most.

The Foster pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Job largely done: linebacker settled and 7 of 9 of the wish list covered.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
