The Panthers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Drew Allar fell into the 116th pick. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Reaching for Moore left real value on the table behind him.

That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Adding DaRon Bland by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
