There is conviction, and then there is this. The Cardinals took Jordan Hall a full 41 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Thieneman pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Tyler Guyton gives the group a proven body among the projects.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
