A costly weekend of dealing drags the Cowboys to a D.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Cowboys, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

They will need Harris to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Spending an early pick on edge rusher with quarterback and tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. On value alone, Smith makes the weekend a net positive.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
