When the story of this class is written, it opens with DeMonte Capehart at the 249th pick, a reach of 49 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. The board sounded every alarm, and the F is the fallout.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Jones. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
