The Buccaneers lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Buccaneers reached some 62 spots for Jalyx Hunt, and value like that does not grow back.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. On value alone, Hadden makes the weekend a net positive.

The Williams pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.

Pick26 Rnd1 Jackson Powers-Johnson

In Round 1, Pick 26 they get an anchor for the offensive line. The biggest hole, addressed.

Pick57 Rnd2 Jeremiah Trotter Jr.

A reach on Jeremiah Trotter Jr. in pick 57; the board had better options right there. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
