A costly weekend of dealing drags the Buccaneers to a D-.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Buccaneers started one anyway for Jalyx Hunt, 39 picks ahead of schedule.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The Williams pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback still on the board. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Cooper at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
