The phones were a trap the Buccaneers kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.

They are betting Hunt proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The Buccaneers indulged a want in Hunt while a need in edge rusher, quarterback and other spots stayed open. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

The McGlothern pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
