The Capehart reach set a tone the Buccaneers could not shake: F. Call it belief, call it a gut call, but DeMonte Capehart at pick No. 247 is 147 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The Hunt pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, quarterback and other spots still on the board.
The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Liufau pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
