The Cowboys treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick 127 on Patrick Payton a full 72 spots early. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The Haulcy steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Cowboys indulged a want in Smith while a need in wide receiver and interior defensive lineman stayed open.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Arvell Reese and all.
