The Cowboys spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Smael Mondon Jr., the No. 42 name on the board, in pick No. 144.

They are betting Walley proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Cam Ward gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits.

The veteran additions, Jerry Jeudy chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
