The Cowboys did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Brashard Smith fell into pick 174. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

If Parr pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
