You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Seahawks did exactly that with Jaheim Bell in pick 118.

Jayden Daniels is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. They banked enough surplus on Jones to cover a lot of smaller sins. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.

The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
