After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Michael Penix Jr. is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Reaching for Kinchens left real value on the table behind him. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Curtis Samuel leading the way. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
