More right than wrong for the Bears, and a B to prove it.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Bears took Joe Milton III a full 42 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
