The Bears worked the phones like thieves and earned a A-.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Justin Eboigbe at No. 226 is 46 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Foyesade Oluokun leading the way.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
