The Falcons kept it disciplined and banked a B.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Falcons spent Round 7, Pick 5 on Austin Reed, a name most had 49 spots down the list. The bottom line is a respectable B.

However the rest shakes out, Hadden at that price is a win they earned. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will answer for taking OLB-EDGE early while tight end and linebacker went begging.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
