If confidence were a draft strategy, the Browns would have aced it. Jalen Milroe at pick No. 35 is 59 spots clear of where he belonged.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Hampton. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

If Tyler Warren and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
