The steal of the weekend belongs to the Cowboys and Gordon II: B-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Ollie Gordon II at the Round 6 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The cost of the Watson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
