Draft Grade — Giants
Overall C+
ValueB- NeedB TradesB FutureD
Sanders is the plan now, and the Giants grade out a C+.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Giants committed. Shedeur Sanders is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. A mixed bag that lands at C+.

Horn Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Mondon Jr. steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Shedeur Sanders
In pick 4 they get a long-term answer under center. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick18 Rnd1 Tyler Warren
In the Round 1 slot they get a security blanket over the middle, a steep price for the projection. A real need, handled.
Pick34 Rnd2 Tate Ratledge
Tate Ratledge in Round 2, Pick 2 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick65 Rnd3 Xavier Watts
Xavier Watts slid further than he should have, and the 65th overall pick is lovely value for the safety. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick103 Rnd4 Kevin Winston Jr.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Kevin Winston Jr. at the 103rd pick is the proof. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick134 Rnd4 Nicholas Singleton
Circle this one: Nicholas Singleton at pick No. 134 is a fall that decides a draft. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick153 Rnd5 Smael Mondon Jr.
Taking Smael Mondon Jr. in No. 153 is close to grand larceny; a linebacker that good had no business lasting this long. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick219 Rnd7 Jared Wilson
They did well to land Jared Wilson in slot 219, just ahead of his grade. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick245 Rnd7 Jimmy Horn Jr.
A real head-scratcher, Jimmy Horn Jr. in slot 245 is miles ahead of his ranking. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
