No fireworks, just a tidy B for the Bills.

The needs board said one thing and the Bills did another, using the 109th overall pick on Jacob Parrish while linebacker, offensive lineman and other spots waited.

That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Harmon pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Thornton Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
