The Titans won the night they stopped Jones Jr. from sliding. Grade: D.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Titans did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

They banked enough surplus on Jones Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
